Sidney Crosby was cleared today after missing 68 games. On January 1'st he took a hit from a Capitols player at the winter classic of 2011. Bill Polian decided after 14 years it was time to show Payton the door

After 14 good years with the Colts Peyton Manning has been let go. After missing all of last season from a pre-season neck injury. After he was released some teams have shown some interest in the 14 year vet. The teams are Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Bronco's, Jaguar's, Titans's, Redskin's, 49'ers, Cardinal's, Seahawks, Bengals, Texans, Eagles, Bears, And the Buccaneers. So Peyton has a lot of choices.

Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis apologize

 Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis are being accused of knowing about bounty committed by Gregg Williams. Bounty is when you pay a player extra for hurting another player. Sean Peyton and Mickey Loomis released a statement saying " These are serious violations and we understand the negative impact it has had on our game. Both of us have made it clear within our organization that this will never happen again and make that same promise to the NFL and most importantly to all of our fan's." I expect Sean Peyton to get suspended for at least 3 to 5 game's. And with the draft they should be stripped of there first round draft picks.

A look ahead to Opening Day

The Angles are looking forward to a better season with Albert Pujol's at 1st , C.J Wilson at pitcher, Bobby Abreu at left field, Torii Hunter at right field, and Howard Kendrick at second. Does Lamar really belongs in LA.

Lamar Odom wants to go back to LA after not having the best season with the Mav's. But the dilemma is whether LA wants him back. LA really is shooting for Dwight Howard. I'll keep you updated on this dilemma. Please give me your opinion in comments.

Close win

Jeremy Lin and Carmelo Anthony missed a few important jumper's including a 25 foot jumper, a 15 foot jumper, and a 25 foot jumper. With 10 seconds to go in OT Rajan Rondo drew a key foul from Jeremy Lin. Rondo missed his first free throw but made his second free throw. Carmelo drew a foul with 4 seconds to go and made both his free throw's. But in the end Boston won 111 to 115.

Update on the Slam dunk contest

I know I said in an earlier post only Paul George, Iman Shumpert, Chase Buddinger, and Derrick Williams were the only ones competing in the dunk contest. But David Stern and the NBA gave in to Jeremy Evans's plea to compete after Iman Shumpert got injured. And turns out Jeremy's two balled dunk over Gordan Hayward won him Blake's crown. The Nba has announced the contenders for the Sprite Slam Sunk Contest. They Are Derrick Williams, Paul George, Iman Shumpert,  Chase Buddinger. Derrick Williams is from the Minnesota Timberwolves he's a high flyer out of Arizona. Paul George can throw it down with authority to rival any body in the NBA. Does the Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert out of Georgia Tech have what it takes to win the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. Can the Rockets swingman make history after being in Yo's shadow for so long.

  

Randy Moss planning a comeback

Just like Brett Farve. Randy Moss just can't let football go. Moss announced on a webchat Monday — his 35th birthday — that he's planning a comeback. Moss has said " I play when I want to play". Well six months after retirement he wants to play. “It didn't surprise me when he retired, and it doesn't surprise me he wants to come back,” said Bob Pruett, Moss' college coach at Marshall. “I think he can be a great player for whoever picks him up.” Here are some of the teams he's played for.

Mavericks vs Clippers

Dirk and the Mav's beat the Clippers in a nail-biter. Dirk of course being the leading scorer for the Mav's but Caron Buttler being the leading scorer for the Clippers. Dirk was the leading scorer of the game with 30 points.

Even though I hate the Mav's I tip my hat off to Dirk.

Scroll to his contract, and you will see the amount of money and years he has remaining. You can lower the amount of money and add as many years as desired. You will never lose him until he retires.
